Smirnoff is a 1 year old Boxer in Lugoff, SC, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

Smirnoff was only 6 weeks old when I purchased her. What sold me was she was white and a blue eye. She was definitely the apple of my eye. As I work from home, she constantly wanted to be on my lap... she thought she was a lap puppy still. I ended up getting another puppy, this one is a Lab/ boxer mix. I ended up with a 3rd puppy, she too is a white boxer, Smirnoff's sister.

My son took her outside for a walk/ run. When they returned, nothing seemed wrong, but about 15 min later she was limping. I asked my son about what they did, and he was puzzled. I watched her for 3 days after that, but did not see like she was healing on her own. I took her to the vet and was informed she tore a muscle and will need a surgery to be able to repair it called TPLO.

Smirnoff is a happy girl. Though she is still a baby, her excitement she gives us all is so nice to see. I am basically the girls care giver, so when I have to work in the office, they are very snooty with the family until I get back home, then I get lots of love.

When this emergency came up, it is very unexpected and costly. Even though my vet can do the surgery instead of going to the emergency hospital, the cost quoted to me was no more than 4k. I know we can come up with some, but don't believe we can do it all.
