Smokey is a 4-year-old Cat in Castle Hayne , NC, who needs $336 for Dental.

Smokey was a stray/feral cat living on campus at my job. He would come around daily looking for food so I started feeding him and a few other cats. Was never able to get close to him but continued to feed him daily. After a few months I trapped him and had felines of friends take him for neutering and vaccines. He was released andstarted getting friendlier and letting people approach and pet him.

A co worker took smokey home after him living outside for couple years. His name is Ryan and he and smokey live alone. Smokey adapted very well and quickly. Follows Ryan foot to foot. Still hides sometimes. It will probably take a while to get acclimated. At least he has a roof over his head now . Thank you!

Smokey was an angel who needed and was ready for a home life. It got down to freezing many nights and he had to sleep outside. We made him a shelter but he would never get in it. He helped comfort a lot of our patients that would go outside and just sit with him and pet him. Changed a few patients outlook on life.

Smokey has terrible breath and we noticed some of his teeth missing. We took him to vet that said he had a tooth that needed to be extracted and severe tartar and plaque build up. We are afraid he will get infection. We did get him looked over for other things but he was ok

I've been spending money on food and making sure he has what he needs. I don't make much money and i have my own pet. I feel like he will have a good life if we get him all well
