Smokey Joe is a 5 month old Chow Chow in Lexington , SC, who needs $605 for Exam, Vaccines, Apoquel Tablets, & Trifecta.

This fluffy intuitive bundle of love happened to be the runt of a litter. He fell into my life at a very tumultuous time and he has literally become my emotional support. When it was time to take him for his follow up with our vet, I found out he had a heart murmur so they didn’t want to put him to sleep to neuter him. He thinks he’s got a lot of admirers as it is!! lol! It keeps me on my toes!

This is my best friend and fur love of my life! He is an amazing pup. He’s lovable, protective and loves to go for rides. He also loves chasing sea birds at the beach!! He likes to taste the sand too , lol. He loves belly rubs, being with his “ humans”, and loves all other animals! Cheese is his favorite treat.

I have been out of work due to a blown right knee pending surgery, and just got out of the hospital this past Sunday from 2 lower back surgeries.. These unexpected medical issues have prevented me from getting his shots, his heart murmur checked, and his heart worm / flea treatment for the year.He is currently suffering from a chronic allergic reaction which causes him to be miserable itching !

It is due to my unforeseen medical conditions that has put him in this position and it breaks my heart that because of being out of work a significant extended time I am currently unable to provide him the comfort in his health he deserves and rx meds for itch & heartworms
