Snoop is a 4 year old Black and Tan Coonhound in Middlebury, VT, who needs $633 for Emergency Blood Work, Meds, and Hospitalization.

I was looking to rescue, rehome or purchase a hound. While doing an extensive search online, I found Snoop! He was living on an Amish farm in Pennsylvania. I made the trek to Pennsylvania to bring Snoop to his forever home. When I arrived at the farm there was a family standing in front of the homestead holding Snoop! I knew immediately he was mine and I was his!

Snoop's hound instinct led him into trouble on the evening of August, 24th. He ate compost on the farm where we live. The compost caused a life threatening symptoms! His temperature reached 108 accompanied by other life threatening symptoms. He had a 10% chance to live. He was hospitalized at the Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists where treatment saved his life!

Snoop lives up to his name! He is curious and inquisitive. Always snooping around! He has a soft and gentle demeanor and loves everyone he comes in contact with! He loves to snuggle and his naps. He loves his ears rubbed but most of all he loves our times together exploring the woods all over VT and NY. He is the best part of me. He thinks I rescued him but really he saved me...

I live on my own and work full time as a caregiver. I pride myself in being very independent so putting this out there is completely out of my comfort zone but Snoop is all I have. He is my child and I will do whatever I can for him, he needs me and I need him even more!
