Snoopy is a 10 year old Dachshund in Clover, SC, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal and Chemotherapy.

Snoopy is a standard dachshund with a black and brown coat. We adopted him when he was just a baby. He currently lives comfortably in a 5 bedroom house with a huge backyard to run around in. He has a pillow top bed, but prefers to cuddle under the covers with us. He has 3 cats as siblings, all of which cause mayhem throughout the house. He's very happy and we make sure he has the best.

Throughout the course of his life, he has developed lipomas due to genetics. Most of them were surgically removed and some just didn't grow enough to be removed. Recently however, the vet discovered a lump in his anal glands. It was later confirmed to be Adenocarcinoma, which is cancer in the glands.

He's the perfect balance; calm and cuddly during down time, but super active and vigilant throughout the day. He's super sweet and protective with those he cares about. He's so used to getting attention that he'll immediately get jealous when the other cats get attention first. He adores the family and we all love him.

The specialist we spoke with stated the surgery to remove the lump is going to be around $4000 and the chemotherapy is going to be another $2000. My spouse and I can't afford the expense because I lost my job due to going back to school and my spouse is the only one working.
