Snoopy is our fur baby from Covid. He came to us as a little bundle of fur. He is such a loving dog, everyone he meets gets treated to hugs. He actually wraps his paws around your legs to hug you. He brings joy to so many people and pets. He's best friends with my twins and regularly sleeps with one or the other of them at night. His best furry friend is lovebug, our cat.

Our lawn maintenance left our side gate open, unknown to us. When we let Snoopy out in the backyard to go potty, he got out and was hit by a car--twice! It was only thanks to someone in the community, I was able to find him in some bushes. But, he has 2 broken bones and because of his size, he needs surgery or he won't walk properly again. Snoopy, "Snoop Dog", is everyone's best friend. He rarely meets someone that he doesn't love. Whenever someone is sad, Snoopy seems to know and will nudge up under your arm until you let his sweet face in your lap. Then, he looks up with loving eyes and you just can't stay sad. People from all over the state have called to check on him when they heard he was hurt because of all the love he brings.

I am a single mom, who is also a teacher. My teaching salary goes to all of "my kids"--including my twins. While I have a small insurance policy for emergencies, it only pays 1/3 of the cost of emergency care and surgery. for this injury. Its almost exhausted by the ER visit
