We truly don’t have the words for how devastating Snow’s condition is.

His tiny front legs are shattered—so badly damaged that he’s been forced to drag himself across hard concrete just to move. They bend at unnatural angles, and there’s no telling how long he’s been pulling his broken body forward on unforgiving ground. Instead of being protected and cared for, he was abandoned on the streets by the very people who were meant to love him.

But Snow’s story didn’t end there.

When he came into our care, he couldn’t stand. He couldn’t walk. He could only push himself forward using his back legs, inch by painful inch. Seeing him try is something we will never forget. We don’t know when his injuries happened. Were his legs broken after he was dumped? Or was he left behind because his family didn’t want to face the cost of his care? The uncertainty is heartbreaking.

Once Snow arrived, we made him as comfortable as possible and rushed him for X-rays first thing the next morning. The results were devastating. The damage to his legs is severe, and the path forward will not be easy.
