Snow is a 7 month old Siberian Husky in Marietta , GA, who needs $1,000 for Luxating Patella Surgery.

3 weeks ago my family went to the shelter on a free adoption day to find a dog for my 5 year old son to love on. He was praying for a white “wolf” dog. There wasn’t one on the website but when we got there we stumbled across our Snow and immediately fell in love with her sweet personality.

I noticed she was limping and the shelter said they didn’t know what was wrong, but that she was limping when she was turned in. We were already in love so adopted her and followed up with our vet. Her leg seemed to have been injured somehow and healed incorrectly. The vet hopes to do a surgery on it to help her mobility and pain.

She is such a sweet, cuddly fluff. She is so calm for a young dog and absolutely loves my children. We have another dog as well and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much happier my first dog seems now that we have Snow. They play very well together despite her pain.

Almost immediately after adopting her my husband got injured and couldn’t work for a couple weeks and we’ve been having to pay over $1000 for his medical bills on top of not working and it’s made things pretty tight! We unfortunately have no more emergency funds
