Snowflake is a 2-year-old Cat in Bloomington , IN, who needs $75 for Spay and Rabies Vaccination.

The big snow storm of 2021 is when Snowflake came to join us. She was sitting on the porch as snow flakes began to fall. That’s how she got her name : Snowflake. I’m not entirely sure where she came from but she hasn’t left since that evening in November. She was a replacement pet for my oldest son. I won’t go into detail, but she was truly a God-send.

Snowflake is very chill and keeps to herself for the most part. She had 4 kittens in her litter back in May 2021. We ended up keeping a female (Stormy). We also have a male (Lightning). They all get along great and seem to play uniquely with one another. Snowflake isn’t a fan of the dogs haha but sometimes we catch her initiating play with them !

The first 6 months at our home, Snowflake and mom did not have a positive bond. But she soon became pregnant. Mom was able to pinpoint the exact day she was pregnant. When it was time for Snowflake to deliver, mom knew. She nested for her and Snowflake “talked “ to mom , telling her it was time. This was the beginning of a healthy bond between us

Snowflake needs a spay surgery. She can spend up to 3 weeks crying and in discomfort during her heat cycle. She’s already had one litter. Pets Alive will do the surgery for $75 plus $15 for her rabies vaccination
She hasn’t seen a vet since she came to join our household; therefore she probably needs additional preventative care, as well.

Not only is Snowflake in discomfort during her heat cycle, but she also keeps the rest of the housemates up for weeks and irritable; humans and furbabies. I am employed on a part time basis. Covid and being divorced make it hard on me financially
