This cute blonde and white, 5yr old Rat Terrier and Chihuahua mix, is SNOWFLAKE. She is a rescue pet that we adopted from the Dallas Animal shelter in 2019. She came from an abusive home and has nervous issues and anxiety attacks with loud noises and storms. She lives with my 11yr old daughter and myself. We love on her daily to reassure her she is loved and in a safe place.

Snowflake's eye condition started in 2024. She was seen by the Community Outreach Pet Clinic in Lewisville Tx. They did dye test and x-ray of the eye. They thought allergies at first but problem stayed and more swelling occurred. Current diagnosis is eye lid cyst that will need to be removed surgically and biopsy for further analysis .

Snowflake is a VERY chill and laid back dog. She loves attention from everyone especially kids. She is a lap baby and craves affection and SNACKS! She does have some anxiety issues when loud noises occur, or when its storming outside. During those times she stays under someone until the coast is clear and we reassure her she is ok.

I am a single mother of an 11yr old child and currently don't have the resources to pay for the procedure needed. My company has cut back due to financial difficulties and my work hours have been affected. Any help to get this surgery done is appreciated and a blessing!
