About this campaign

Socks was a neighborhood stray that continued to come to my house about six years ago to get food off my front porch since I had two other cats at the time. He was friendly and my other cats did not seem to mind him which was odd. Most cats would tussle and fight with mine, but he never did. I decided since he was spending so much time at the house and had not been neutered and was obviously a stray, I would take him to be neutered. I thought it would be the situation where I would get him neutered, bring him back to the neighborhood and release him back (TNR) and we would just continue the relationship that we currently had. Well, that was not the case. He had a minor complication with the neuter which required me to keep him in the house for a few more days than normal. He got very comfortable in the house and at that point I decided that he was not going anywhere and became a permanent part of the family along with Buddy, Simon and Jack at that time.
I named him Socks because he has four perfect white socks on his paws and is a very handsome tuxedo cat.
