I first got Sofia about two months ago from an animal shelter in our area. I had been pregnant for about two months and ended up losing our baby. It was a difficult time and I had been spiraling into a depression when my boyfriend surprised me with Sofia.

When Sofia was initially attacked it was September 1st and it wasn’t so bad, we were feeling hopeful. We had taken her to VEG ER for Pets in Chandler, AZ where she later removed her stitches the next morning. Over the course of the week her conditioned worsened and necrosis began over her abdominal area.

Sofia is the sweetest girl ever. Despite her age she has always been so full of energy and she’s such a silly baby. She constantly plays with her tail like a kitten and she loves to sit *right* in the middle of every door way like a little guard. She’s been such a strong girl during all of this, she’s the baby I never had and I never want to lose her. Not so soon, not like this.

Im 19 on 09/17 & working minimum wage. Paying the last months rent broke our pockets, covering her first hospital bill will all our credit. I cant express how much having Sofia’s treatment covered would help. We’d finally be able to be at easy after such a trying year.
