Sombra is a 5.5-year-old Great Dane in Prescott, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Extensive Testing.

I adopted Sombra when she was just a pup. I found her on Craigslist and instantly fell in love. I named her the Spanish word for Shadow because of the color of her coat and because I looked into her eyes and thought it suited her. She has grown up with a Wolf Husky mix named Juno. We are currently living in an RV after being homeless for about a year.

Sombra sleeps with me in my bed and is very expressive through facial expressions and vocality. She enjoys all adventures and often tries to hop into random people's cars. She enjoys all treats even when in a bad mood, sometimes eating food from the counter. She is loved by all, being raised and cherished by everyone she meets and lives with.

Sombra loves squeaky toys and tennis balls, often carrying multiple toys at once. She enjoys rolling in the grass, which I call her daily "rolls." She is a peaceful dog that enjoys all weather, simply sitting and sniffing the wind. She often takes time to stop and smell the roses, metaphorically and literally, reminding me of the joy in life.

Sombra is dangerously sick- struggling to breathe, has a treacherous cough, and constant shivering - sometimes leading to seizure activity, and diarrhea. We have done extensive testing on her situation and have found nothing. She is taking Prednisone which is helping some with her cough but her other symptoms worsen. She will undergo further testing at the Humane Society an emergency clinic.

I have no job or funds at this time. She is only five and half, she still has her golden years to live out and adventures to have. Please help us.
