Songyee is a Maltese/Havanese mix breed, we adopted him from CA when he was 6 months old. He currently lives with just me, turning 12 this year. Every year during the wellness exam, doctors compliment him for being very healthy for his age, except one part.

We go to Centennial Bethany Animal hospital in Maryland. While getting an annual exam on the year that he turned 8, the doctor told us about how Songyee had a small heart murmur, but told us it was common in small dogs. The following year when we stopped in for another annual exam, doctor recommended us seeing a cardiologists because his murmur was getting louder each day.

Songyee joined our family when he was in 6months old, his name Songyee comes from this k-drama called "my love from the star" where main female character is Song yi. He has been the family dog ever since, he is the definition of "oh our dog doesn't bite" because he actually never have. All of my family had been moved back to our country, and he has been my only family for about 2 years now.

I am a self pay college student, and I been on my own for the past 3 years. He is all I have and he is my responsibility and my motivation in life. I'm going to do anything I can to help him back to his health because I know he still has at least 2-4 years ahead of him. help
