Brave Soorya Found Paralyzed and Alone on the Streets of Sri Lanka

In the bustling streets of Sri Lanka, where life can be unpredictable, lives a brave young cat named Soorya. Once a spirited feline, Soorya’s life took a tragic turn when he was struck by a vehicle, leaving him with paralysis in his hind limbs.

Soorya's journey has been a tough one. After the accident, he was found struggling to move, relying on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter. Baw Baw Animal Welfare stepped in knowing he would need extensive, long-term care.

Soorya required immediate medical attention to assess his condition. It was determined the paralysis was caused by a spinal cord injury which occurred during the vehicle accident. He is receiving daily medication and a long-term treatment plan is being developed.

Despite his challenges, Soorya’s spirit remains unbroken, and he continues to show resilience in the face of adversity. This beautiful soul deserves a chance to heal and thrive, and with your help, we can make that happen!
