Stray Urgently Needs Help After Being Hit by a Car in Pakistan

Sophie’s story is heart-wrenching. She was found lying helplessly on the road in Pakistan, her small body shattered by unimaginable pain. A car had run over her mouth, leaving her stunned, unable to move or cry out. In shock, Sophie sat silent and numb, her eyes barely able to open.

Workers from a nearby shelter were notified and rushed to give her emergency care as her condition was dire. Sophie’s injuries left her unable to eat, requiring IV fluids and drips to keep her alive. Thankfully, Sophie was determined to heal.

Shortly after she turned a corner, the rescue discovered she was pregnant! She gave birth to just one small puppy, who she spends her time with. Her caretakers think this is why Sophie fought so hard to live.
