Got Sophie as a puppy for my daughter. My daughter chose Sophie as her name. My daughter went away to college so now she is mine. Before the incident Sophie is a very happy and very active dogs. She would always want her walks and playing at park with her ball. She likes sleeping with me on the bed but sometimes she usually sleeps on her bed. It hurts to see her in so much pain

Sophie has always been very active and playful. She loves walks and playing catch. Now that she has been ill it’s very sad to see her in pain. Currently she distances herself and it’s probably due to her pain. We have another dog and they get along really good. They are both very active and high energy dogs. We miss Sophie’s energy.

Sophie loves tennis balls. Loves her walks. We love her energy and really miss that about her. We miss her playing around and wanting to play with her ball. Sophie is special since we had her as a puppy. She is very smart and learns quickly. When we talk to her she looks at us like she just understands us. It’s so amusing. We just love Sophie so much and would appreciate any help.

Before the incident Sophie was very active. We went to Mount Shasta for my birthday. She jumped off the car and possibly slipped on snow/ice and broke her leg. We took her to the local animal hospital and they said she fractured in several pieces. They put a cast on her and said she would need surgery. We paid $1000 for vet bill there. Now we been calling around and surgery is around $4000

On the same trip my husband skipped as well and fractured his ankle. He had to be off work for a couple of weeks and had no more vacation or sick pay at work so we had to use mostly all our savings on that. We also paid vet bill for Sophie’s cast which was $1000
