Sophie is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Lewisburg, TN, who needs $7,000 for MRI and Total Ear Canal Ablation with Lateral Bulla Osteotomy.

Sophie is a 6 year old Yorkie who we've had since a tiny puppy. She lives in a loving household with another larger mix breed dog - Ruger - who absolutely adores her. House is also shared with our 30 year old parrot and 2 kittens. Sophie has always suffered from allergies and she has been treated for that for quite some time.

A few months ago Sophie contracted an ear infection in her right ear. As we were treating it the infection grew and rapidly swelled up her entire ear canal. She had several procedures at Lighthouse Veterinary hospital to open up the ear and clean out the infection but it came back and became harder and harder. Now her ear is completely calcified.

Sophie has the sweetest disposition I have ever seen in a dog, other dogs and people are instinctively drawn to her because of this. She has the absolutely the gentlest soul and does not deserve to suffer like is.

Lately we have have some massive medical charges causing us to use most of what we have to pay for those bills. We absolutely hate the thought of Sophie suffering and not getting this surgery because of financial reasons.
