Sophie is a rare female spayed orange cat that was left behind by her owner when she moved away. We have been feeding her a few months when recently we noticed she was sick and decided to get her help. She is currently in my home until I’m able to get her healthy and find her a rescue or somebody willing to adopt her.

Sophie was first seen on December by amazing small animal practice but she was so underweight the doctor didn’t feel comfortable performing any test at that time. She saw a second vet were they were able to do blood work and her infection and inflammation numbers are extremely high and vet recommends dental with potential extractions.

Sophie is the kindest cat. She is people and pet friendly. She is very independent and keeps to herself. She deserves to feel better after being abandoned by her previous owner and having to fend for herself.

I’m currently unable to provide financial help for Sophie due to financial hardship and that’s why I’m here trying to get her the help she needs and deserves. It’s been a month that I’ve been trying to get her to a rescue but at this time everybody is maxed out.
