My sister in law, Jessica, has had Sophie for 9 years and is the first pet Jessica ever owned. Anyone who owns an animal knows the bond you share with the very first fur baby that you have the privilege of owning. She's 1 of 3 cats in her household, has 2 fluffy dog sisters and a 16 month old human sister. These animals have been there through some of her most trying times in life.

Sophie is happiest when she's snoozing on Jessica's comfy clothes or under the baby's crib. She makes sure that AG is always protected when she's in her crib. Sophie goes bonkers for some Churu cat treats and may steal a few bites from her siblings! She loves to be outside in the sunshine watching the birds fly and day dreams of the mice she could catch.

Sophie is a cat that plays fetch. She sits on top of the fridge to mess with anyone who walks by or tries to get anything from the fridge. She likes to make biscuits on Jessica's belly. She sits on the bathroom counter every morning while she get ready and throws her make up in the floor 🤣 She is fascinated by dripping water, birds and catnip bubbles. She is the baby's biggest protector ❤

Sophie is needing surgery due to a mass that was found in her abdomen. The mass is pushing on her tummy and causing her to not be able to eat as much as she should, which has also resulted in weight loss. They've also found abnormalities in her liver that could mean metastatic. She goes to Flint River Animal Hospital in North Alabama for treatment.

Jessica is a single mom raising a 6 month old daughter, 3 cats and 2 dogs. Her daughter has been in and out of the doctors office due to illness and they both recently had Covid-19. Jessica was out of work during this time, so money is very tight.
