Sopia Rose Robinson is a 8-year-old Yorkie in Kilgore , TX, who needs $1,100 for Mammary Cancer/Spay.

I rescued Sophie when she was 5 months old. She was dumped in the woods from a puppy mill that was about to be raided for poor practices with animals by Animal Control. She was covered in fleas and malnourished. She has been in my loving care ever since then. She adores the camera and the attention we give her. She has been a warm addition to my retirement and life.

She loves learning new tricks and her squeaky toys. Her best friend is Buccus who lost his eye when he was just a puppy and I rescued him as well. They play all day and she is my constant companion. She is very active even for a dog of 8 years old. She runs and jumps and plays and is currently learning to catch toys thrown to her.

I am a elderly single woman now on disability due to a car accident 4 years ago. I have never asked for help before while raising 5 children on my so, this is new to me. Sophie is my world and I only want the best for her.

Sophie is seen by the Vet on 4th in Longview TX. She developed a lump in her abdomen. I have always been diligent in keeping her up to date on her shots and things. My previous vet said the lump was a pellet from a pellet gun and dismissed it. When a new lump came up I changed vets and the Vet On 4th diagnosed her with Mammary Gland Cancer and suggest surgery to remove glands and to spay her.

While visiting relatives her favorite thing to do is watch Columbo the TV show. She climbs up in her snuggy bed and watches episode after episode. I discovered this on accident and she now alerts when the episode ends as if to have to have me start the next one... On Cute detective!!!! Let's hope we figure her medical situation out soon.
