Sora is a 8-year-old German Shepard in Rosamond, CA, who needs $1,332 for Dental Cleaning, Extractions, Neutering.

Found him roaming the desert in the Antelope Valley a few years ago. He’s joined my family and I on our journey and even moved out to Rosamond with a big backyard and his best friend kairi, my other dog. He’s been very fortunate and happy with us but unfortunately we are low income struggling with finances.

We recently Moved in Rosamond next to a huge desert which Sora loves taking walks in. We call him our dancing bear because he trots and smiles when he sees us. His best friend is my small rat terrier Kairi who I also rescued a few months before we came across Sora. They have grown close which is endearing especially since my kairi is not friendly with other dogs.

He’s afraid of the fireworks on the Fourth of July but that’s usual with any dog. He loves playing outside and enjoys peanut butter. His size is ginormous which is hard to handle with too small kids but he is not at all vicious which makes him an amazing family dog. He thinks he is a lap dog like kairi so becomes jealous when he can’t fit on my lap.

His feet have begun to decay and deteriorate. We had him seen by a vet in which we got antibiotics but the procedure of dental cleaning and possible extractions are too expensive for us. This has also reached his scrotum as he has been licking himself and has caused an infection because of the teeth issue.

Low income family. Full time school custodian and full time college student juggling bills, we recently moved into our first house which is a huge mortgage payment. My mother who is also disabled recently lost an additional income which has made bills even harder
