Soren has 2 "brothers" (not by blood) who live with him. I have fostered and raised all of them as newborn kittens so my love for each and one of them runs deep. Soren was the first kitten I fostered after finding him during a rainstorm. My connection with him has been unbreakable since we met. We go out together on adventures because he LOVES car rides and people watching just like me <3

February 2024 I took him to urgent care due to noticing jaundice. At the time the vet ran tests and diagnosed him with liver failure. He had 3 night hospitalization and results looked promising. As of5/29/24 I noticed that Soren has been losing weight. His jaundice did not fully clear up either. I could feel his bones from the weight loss. Vet said liver got worse and needs to stay at hospital. 7k

Soren makes me so happy. He snuggles with me every night and hugs me when we lay down. He is afraid of thunder. He was named after Soren Kierkegaard because of how noble and wise he is. He has always been a curious cat/philosopher. He loves to go on adventures with me although he is an indoor cat. He is friendly with other pets and helps them come out of their shells (I used to pet board at home).

This emergency was unexpected and the cost is very high. I do not have $7k to afford the necessary treatment he needs. It would mean the world to me to save his life, like he has saved mine. Soren is my best friend. He is family. I want to do anything possible to help him.
