I have several cats, but Sorin was my first cat. I've had him for 5 years. He's come with me from Wisconsin, to Minnesota, to Arizona, and back to Minnesota with me.

His nickname is kitty doctor cuz he's really in tune with me and whenever I'm sick or really depressed he sticks closer to me than normal and watches over me.

A couple years ago I was feeling really suicidal and tried to take my life. When I got home from the hospital he stayed right by me day and night for a week. Even sat on the edge of the bathtub when I took a bath watching over me. It really helped me through the feelings I was going through to know Sorin was watching over me, that he loved me.

Even just last week, I was feeling sick with a fever and all day Sorin sat on the headboard of the couch right behind me reaching his paws to me watching over me. And slept cuddled by my face when I went to bed.

I love all my babies and they really help me with my mental illness, but Sorin is my kitty doctor who watches over me like a guardian angel. It means so much to me to be able to give that love and care back to him and get him through this. Thanks to all of you I get to be his doctor, well I get to bring him to real pet doctors 😅, and I can return the favor.
