About this campaign

We have had Sosa since he was 8 weeks old. We had wanted a Cane Corso for years and finally found one at an affordable price. We drove 5 hours to Southern California to pick him up. He lives with 2 cats and 4 (soon to be 5) human siblings. He lives inside with his family. He especially loves “his” kids.

Sosa is just another sibling in the family. He lives inside, sleeps on his XXXL memory foam bed. He’s known to be found cuddling on the couch with one of “his” kids. He likes to play outside when it’s cool (he hates the heat). He is a huge gentle giant and scared of his teeny tiny cat brother. He’s a teddy bear.

I am a nurse and have been working during the coronavirus pandemic. I lost work due to contracting the virus while caring for my patients and have been off work recovering. I will go back to work this week but have a lot of catching up to do on household bills first.

He developed a small cherry eye on his left eye when he was 8 months old. Yesterday he developed a much larger cherry eye on his other eye, the right eye and now both have become so large he is running into walls and doors etc. The cherry eye is blocking his vision and also blocking his tear ducts causing painful dry eye and drainage from both eyes at time. Monte Vista is our vet. They’re great.

He knows how to open the toilet and try to drink the water, even though he has his own fresh drinking water in the kitchen he still will try to drink from the toilet. He will play with his cat brother and then get scared and jump on a humans lap like scooby doo. I’m not sure if he realizes he is 150 lbs and the cat brother is only 10 lbs.
