About this campaign
Sosa was a rescue from Dallas Animal Services. He was surrendered by his owner. We were able to adopt him after he was fixed giving shots not to mention a chip. He is a handful when feeling good...known to pull folks down during walks. We took Sosa to Lake Texoma last summer. He jumped in and played in the water. He just loves life!!!
Sosa is a valued family member. He gets along with our other 7 dogs . Sosa lives to go for car rides and is always happy... when not sick. If we want to go somewhere without him.... it’s not easy... he wants to go. We have a small dog and Sosa is so gentle with her. I would trust him with any of my loved ones. I have rescued many animals in my life time. I do everything possible to give them all a great life. The cost of the vet bills, test and, meds has overwhelmed my budget.
We are not sure exactly what’s wrong with Sosa. Sosa has been to 4 vets now to treat his seizures. Sosa has an appointment with a neurologist on April 21. We fully expect them to send him for more tests. MRI and probably blood work again. This has been really hard on us. Never really knowing when a seizure might happen.
He has a hard time getting through our doggy door . Sosa loves everything and everyone he meets. He makes a contest out of movement from one yard to another... we have five different areas for our dogs. He mostly tries to Hurd the other dogs. Not sure why... but I’m careful not to get in his path while he tries to Hurd.
