About this campaign
My baby Soup was a rescue; I got her from her litter when she was four weeks old to save her life. I raised her from then, and bonded so closely to her. We talk with each other a lot, sleep together, watch movies and read together, and she even humors me by learning tricks. I've moved from where I used to live to keep her safe and with me. Please help her stay home with me.
Last night, Soup got into a trash bin and ate a lot of cooked chicken bones. She currently has an intestinal blockage from it, and requires emergency surgery; as an independent university student covering cost of living and tuition, I do not have the 5000 dollars required to pay for that. Her hospital is South Seattle Veterinarian Hospital.
Soup is a wonderful, playful, and perhaps too mischievous baby. She loves to talk to me, we play together and sleep together and read together. However, what makes her so special is that she has been there for me through everything. She wants nothing more than for me to be happy, comforting me through trauma, and I wish the same for her.
If I cannot pay for this surgery, she will die. And as an independent student, I don't have 5k dollars. Not only is she the being I love the most in this world, I am also going through loss of several other loved ones and am terrified I'll lose her too.
