About this campaign
In 2015 I was a tow truck driver helping someone on the side of the highway and was hit by a car. I became disabled due to this accident. In 2016 I got Spazz as a gift for my wife, but he had a different idea. He bonded with me and became my service dog instead. I think he knew I needed him more than she did.
Spazz is my life he goes everywhere I do and does everything I do. he’s a loving sweet, compassionate dog who loves everyone and every animal he meets. spazz lives with me and my other dog Bella in North Carolina. He’s the light of my life and gave me a purpose to keep living when I felt I had nothing left.
I’m disabled on a fixed income most months I barley make it by paying bills. I’m separated from my wife and have no one I can ask for help and I do not qualify for pet insurance. If you can help you'd be saving not only spazz’s life but mine also without him I have nothing.
On 2/5/21 spazz looked sick he was still drinking and moving around and using the bathroom. the next day he was throwing up shaking and diarrhea on himself so I took him to the vet with the last of my money for the month. They took blood n did a fecal test said it could be a bowel obstruction or distemper.
Spazz is a goofy lil man he’s my happiness my everything. He’s so sweet he loves Bella his fur sister. He loves everyone and all animals he meets but not the way he does me he chose me he knew I needed him more than I knew. He’s taught me how to love and make connections something I’ve never knew or no person could have taught me. Spazz is my life and gives me life without him I have nothing.
