I decided one day to.just look at dogs at the human society. I went to visit and Spike selected me and we've been inseparable since. He's a very calm and adventurous guy. Recently we had a lot of tough times together from losing a house mate to consistent vet visits.

Recently Spike developed some lumps that the Vet said wasn't much of an issue. I kept up on his records, but recently the lump started to get bigger. Recently it has lead to a skin infection and while waiting for next day appointment I noticed it became worse quickly. Took him in and was advised he would need surgery for necrosis at VEG.

Spike is a warrior and beloved child in my home. He is the sweetest, but adventurous dog I've ever had. He's a great cuddle buddy on your worst days but he'll definitely let you know he loves unlimited belly rubs, My family is absolutely hurting seeing my boy go through this issue and he is absolutely loved by everyone in the family including his great grandma.
