Spike is a 3 year old Sugar glider in San antonio , TX, who needs $350 for Lance & Draining of Abscess, X-rays, Anesthesia, Meds.

This is Spike, he was found on offer up. His previous owners were threatening to release him outside. I was able to pick him up for a rehoming fee of 250$ and was not informed he had any medical issues prior to pick up. Unfortunately the moment I saw him I knew something wasn't quite right, his right cheek was swollen and his right eye swollen shut.

Due to the swelling on the right side of his face I scheduled an appt with All Creatures Great &Small Vet Hospital for tomorrow 7/31 @8:30am. Unfortunately after speaking with my vet and going over the cost of the procedure I've come to realize I can not afford his procedure in full. I have enough to cover half the visit but would need help reaching the other 250$-300$ goal for his appt.

Despite his condition Spike hasnt given up on people, he's got the friendliest personality of all the rescues I've brought home. He’ll ball up on your chest for a cuddle and chirp till he falls asleep. A sign of love, acceptance and trust. I want so much to give him a second chance and a good life.

My priority upon seeing Spike was to immediately get him out of a dangerous situation where he could be released. -Being a domesticated animal that would have been a death sentence. I hope to get him back on the right track and praying for no permanent damage to his eye.
