About this campaign
July 2011 I inherited her because my brother past away June 2011 from Stage 4 cancer. So Spirit came to stay with me and my family when she was 5 years old. Now she is 9 and half years old. Every now and then something gets her attention and she staring at ceiling, not sure what it is. Maybe she sees my brother, who knows.
Spirit didn't eat or drink water for 4 days then she nibbled here and there. She never left our side gate door, because she was waiting for my brother to come get her, and she jumped into passenger seat of 1984 Cadillac. But after month or so Spirit came around started eating and even went in backyard. Little by little she accepted us as her family now.
My hours have been cut, I already got a loan against my 401k, but I'm currently paying that back from last surgery she had February 2021 at Atlas Pet Hospital, Norco, CA. So I can't get another loan until its paid off. So my last resort is payday loan, such financial trap.
Spirit loves to sun bathed, but its not good for her non-pigment skin, so she get these multiple ulcerated bleeding masses. So far she does not have lymphoma, her blood work, kidney, liver are all in good considering she older now. Now the surgery is scheduled for Tuesday July 6, 2021 because we have to stop the bleeding. She not anemic.
Hospital name is Western U Pet Health Center and Dr. Kim
When she passes by aluminum trash can she barks because she sees another dog looking at her, even though its just reflection of herself. On walks she likes to chase the lizards and motorcyclist and people driving by in golf carts. She loves squeaky toys . One time she killed lizard and she didn't want me to pick up dead lizard, ran pick it up and threw it, like it was toy.
