Spirit is a 8.5 year old St. Bernard in Willow, AK, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostic Treatment and Ongoing Care.

Spirit came into our lives as a 9-month-old lovable puppy. She has only become more affectionate as she has grown, loving everyone and everything, from kittens and cats to her sister Cyrus or complete strangers.

In August, Spirit was rushed to the ER after we noticed she was profusely bleeding, where they found she had a vaginal mass. We were devastated to hear we wouldn't be able to afford to have it removed or do a biopsy. While we went home with meds to help control the bleeding, she has still been bleeding on and off.

Spirit loves running through the woods and rolling in the snow; once she finds a scent trail, she becomes deaf to the world. She enjoys being pet and doesn't understand the concept of "too big to be a lap dog."

The surgery would cost around $6000 on top of the diagnostic treatments and any ongoing care she would need.
Which we simply cannot afford due to life circumstances.
We want her to live her golden years pain-free and comfortable for however long that may be.
