Sam, our son, was 11 and struggling in a new school due to his autistic condition. He was frustrated and angry, and depressed that he didn't have friends. He was delighted when we brought home a 5 1/2 week old yorkie puppy to join our family as his birthday present. It was Halloween and so the name he chose was Spooky.

Spooky is the early riser in the family and gets our day started with his morning walk. Later in the day, Sam and Spooky share a special hug and tummy rub. With this interaction, the day is easier for Sam and better for all of us. Spooky is happiest when we are all home at the end of the day.

The four members of our family are Sam, Mom and Dad, and Spooky. All of our extended family members live in Argentina. They met Spooky one time when they visited in the US. They know how important Spooky is to us. When they call to check on our health, they always ask about Spooky. We are happy to tell them about him.

Spooky has a tumor in his mouth which may be life threatening. He will need anesthesia for this procedure. Hopefully the removal of the tumor will be the only care he will require. His veterinarian is PetCure Veterinary Center. The mass may need to be sent out to a lab for further analysis.

Sam's dad had cancer and is unable to work. He escaped the most severe outcome through early diagnosis and treament. We need financial assistance to restore Spooky to good health.
