About this campaign
Just graduated from film school, we both are struggling to pay rent, groceries, and all other bills. Spotty our 5 year old cat, has an infection in her teeth that caused rotting. we went to the vet and paid $135 and made an appointment in august for the dental surgery which would cost around $600 we are trying to save as much money for the surgery but we do need help.
Spotty is the oldest in our household, we adopted another cat who was going to be put down when we went to the shelter to pick up a spay voucher for spotty, we couldn't leave such a beautiful long haired black cat behind so we adopted him and gave spotty a companion to play with when we aren't home and at work. we don't want to lose spotty we love her and she sleeps with us all the time.
she puts her tongue out, we always thought it was silly but we soon found out that it was because her teeth hurt sooo bad that she can't even leave her tongue inside. what used to put a smile on our face became a sad thing. now everytime we see her tongue out we get sad because she has to live with that pain. but another thing that i find so funny is whenever i sing she likes to meow.
The vet we take her to gave her all the shots she needed and an antibiotic to help with the infection hence the invoice i attached in pictures. I asked them to provide me with an estimate on how much the procedure of the dental surgery is going to cost and they gave me the paper as well
it would mean so much if spotty can eat dry food again, she can't chew on her teeth so all she does is lick the juices out of the wet food, and whenver she eats the dry food that we put for our other cat she throws up because she eats them whole and doesn't chew them down.
