Springs is a 13-year-old Maltese in South Grafton, MA, who needs $2,000 for IVDD ( Intervertebral Disc Disease) surgery.

Springs was a rescue along with his best friend and mate Bonita. She passed away last year. Springs along with his human family miss her dearly. Springs needs Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) surgery. I have to emphasize, the operation is urgently needed because he is in extreme pain and his case is worsening. Delays in treatment could lead to irreversible damage.

Springs is a kind and gentle dog. He likes to hang out next to you with plenty of contacts. For his age, he is very playful with humans and other dogs. We rescued another dog called Bella, which became his best friend. She is only a year. We are now afraid that she will miss him dearly. Everyone that comes in contact with him will tell you the same, he just wants to show you, unconditional love.

Many of you have witnessed the unconditional love he brings to you, so please help Springs get rid of the excruciating pain and this disease that causes it and enable him to live the rest of his life without it. Our family lost his best friend and mate Bonita of 11 years recently, it just saddens us that we may lose him also.

Under the consult of a Veterinarian, my wife and I tried combating the disease with pain management and a holistic approach, but his condition is getting more painful and worse.

My wife and I have paid for his care over the last year, but have come to a wall where his surgery is $10,000 of which we can not afford. The Vet recently said that he has a good chance with the surgery and PT he may recover, giving him more years on this earth.
