Hello! Meet Squeaks! Squeaks came to me at only a few days old in May of 2023. He was found with puncture wounds from what we assume to be a large bird.. and was all by himself in someone’s yard. I bottle fed him with the intent of fostering until he was old enough to find a home (famous last words.) He’s now almost 3. He spends 90% of his time on my shoulder like a parrot.

Squeaks goes to bloominggrove veterinary. Or surgical quote is in the photos. He has some inflammatory conditions we have been working to manage, but has developed a growth in his mouth that needs to be removed and tested for cancer. It’s growing rapidly and the doc wants to do surgery in 5 weeks. He will have preliminary lab work done on March 6th. And surgery will be scheduled after that.

He’s bonded to me. Goes to bed with me at night and sleeps under my chin with his arm wrapped around my head. I work from home, so he’s with me 24 hours a day. He terrorizes his brothers, runs on his wheel, and cuddles his mom… and he just loves everyone. It makes my heart hurt that he hurts. And I want him to have a long and happy life being the sweetest little man I’ve ever met.

Squeaks medical issues are ongoing and getting more expensive. Injections every few months to manage his IBD, special food because he has a hard time even eating pâté. The surgery is sudden and unexpected and we could really just use some help to make this work.
