When a coworker needed to rehome Squirtle, I knew from one look into his sweet eyes that he was meant to be home with me. After suffering two miscarriages, Squirt found a forever place in my heart.

Squirtle was walking down the carpeted basement steps and following mommy to do laundry, when right toward the bottom of the steps, his little leg got caught underneath himself and he tumbled down the last three steps. Just hard enough and at the right angle to break his elbow. Now, he is needing emergency surgery to repair and avoid complete amputation.
