Stacks is a Winter baby. He came to our life on a cold stormy winter day. I remember the day we picked him up from the home we bought him from. It was so cold we wrapped him up in a warm blanket from nearly the doorsteps of the house to our car. He just loved the snow. When we got home. We put him in a box under the Christmas tree for our girls. He just couldn’t stop moving eager to meet them.

Stacks has always been a good loving dog. He enjoyed playing in the snow and being the light of the day. Now, he just lays down and watches everyone else have a good time but I know stacks. I know he wishes he could run and play like he use to. He is a sweet boy who means a lot to me. It hurts to see him sad. He still manages to give you a kiss and wag his tail even though he is in pain.

Stacks has always been unique. I call him Stacks the contractor dog. He would love to go work with my husband when he did plowing in the snow. We would let him out during plowing so he could go to the bathroom and instead he just wanted to hop in the snow. He is a gentle dog who treated his sister rabbit with so much love. Stacks loves attention, especially when you call him handsome.

Stacks was always an energetic dog. One day my husband noticed a limp and it would come and go. As time went by it got worse and we noticed he got skinny. We took him to the vet and they didn’t seem to concerned about his limp but it has gotten worse because he just lays all day. Just a few days ago he developed a very swollen mouth and we are concerned about his health. He seems to be in pain.

I am disabled and currently living on a very minimal amount of money from ssdi. We have exhausted all our resources. We are behind on our bills and in an extremely difficult financial hardship. We have exhausted our help with family and friends.
