About this campaign
Star came into our life as a purchase from a small town breeder. She was purchased for our six-year-old daughter as a Christmas gift star has been with us since she was about eight weeks old. She got her name off of just a fluke thing of me staring at the sky and writing it down on my daughters piece of paper a puppy names and that’s the one she liked. No other pets.
At this time I work from home so she gets free reign of the house with me while I’m working. She has a nice fenced in yard to playing in the back and he’s starting to walk better on the leash so that our daughter can handle her without her pulling. She’s a very happy excitable go lucky puppy and we hope to be able to get her fixed so she can share many more years with us.
Our dog is special because she loves to be by our feet and curl around them when she’s sleeping or lick them when she thinks we need kisses. She’s very excitable and gets the zoomy‘s all the time running around from the living room to the kitchen or went outside making figure eights around the trees. A cute thing is that she snores louder than my husband when she’s sleeping.
We found out when we brought our puppy in to get spayed that she has an underdeveloped liver which has been diagnosed as a shunted liver by the University of Minnesota veterinary medical center. At this time we have her surgery scheduled for December 9, 2021 to correct the liver shunt at the University of Minnesota veterinary Medical Center in Saint Paul Minnesota.
Due to Covid my hours were shortened and working from home. My husband works at a manufacturing plant that has been affected by part shortages. So we are unable to pay the full large amount for this surgery that needs to be done.
