Star is a 1 month old Mix-Breed in Hillsboro, MO, who needs $350 for Amputation of the Tail.

We found Star as a stray in the woods around dusk. We didn't see any other cats or kittens and we decided to bring her home with us. We decided to name her star because of her sandy color fur and we found her at night. We have 2 other adult cats and 1 dog.

We took Star too Homestead veterinary hospital. Stars tail got infected as 3/4 of it is rotted. This is a emergency surgery to amputate 3/4 ( or more) of her tail to prevent it from getting any worse. If the base of her tail can scab over, the doctor may be able to save a nub. But if the infection gets worse, then he will have to take the whole tail which has a higher infection rate.

Star loves too cuddles. Specifically on ur chest or on your shoulders. She also loves food and treats. Star has a little purple mouse buddy she likes too play with but most importantly she loves too climb. Wether on the bed or the desks she'll find a way. Day by day she becomes more active and hopefully after her surgery she'll be able to move more comfortably.

I started school again so I haven't been working and my significant other has been layed off for a couple weeks. We are struggling financially and this kitten was unplanned. Star already means so much to this family. She deserves to have a loving home and a chance at life.
