Star is a 3-year-old Golden in San Marcos, CA, who needs $2,000 for Gastronomy.

We rescued Star from a breeder and got her to befriend our other rescue dog. We’ve had her for three months and she was extra underweight. She is back to normal, but eats all manner of odd things.

She lives with us and our three children and our other rescue. She has a large back yard area she loves to play in. She loves climbing the hill in our back yard.

She jumps around like a bunny when it’s time to go outside and when you pet her she raises lips in a smile that looks like a snarl. It’s hilarious cause she looks like she’s mad when she’s happy.

She has a blockage in her intestines from eating a beach towel. Surgery is required or she will have to be put down. Otherwise she will have a painful passing.

If we cannot raise the money my children will be crushed as she has become a member of the family. Not sure how I will console them especially my eleven year old.
