About this campaign

We found her at an apartment complex in the middle of the night. It was August and the weather had been in the 90’s all week. She was very loving and came up to us like she had known us for years. She was definitely someone’s cat but we waited and posted everywhere to see if she belonged to someone. She was dehydrated and skin and bone. Almost immediately our home became hers.

We have one other kitten named Nina, at first Starfire was territorial but quickly warmed up to her. They have been best friends since. They often meow and climb all over me until I pull my blinds up so they can bird watch together out the window. They tolerate my little bother amazingly well. He will carry them all over the house and he plays with them often.

Starfire is a very mellow cat but the second I open my window she’s talking and running around. She sits like a queen in the back of the couch and she loves it. I didn’t mean to become her person but I did. She sleeps next to me every night and lays on my chest. She’ll make biscuits until I get up to feed her. My favorite part about her is her eyes. She is the most beautiful cat to me.

Lately she is refusing to eat or drink. We took her to the vet but we weren’t able to afford much besides prescription food and anti nausea medication. We’ve tried a bland diet but nothing is working. She’s lost weight and is most likely very dehydrated right now. Also because we found her on the street, we don’t have any documents to show for her.
We took her to Franklin Animal clinic.

My mom lost her job and I only make enough to chip in for rent and my phone bill. Starfire is my whole world. She came into my life when I was at my lowest and I felt like a lost cause. If I can get her the help she needs, it would be a blessing.
