Stark is a 6 Year Old American Pit Bull Terrier in New Port Richey, FL, Who Needs $5,000 for MRI.

We got Stark and his sister, MJ, from a friend at my old job back in 2019, and he’s been such a good boy to us for the last six years and I cannot picture our lives without him.

Stark was totally fine. We came home after the movies and I let him out of the crate to potty and relax. He tried to walk out and fell. He had trouble using his back legs. We took him to the emergency vet. His blood work looked good and his xray dint show much. He needs an MRI to confirm (can’t afford), but they think he has a slipped disc or had a spinal stroke.

Stark is such a sweet, handsome, and loving boy with a huge smile. He loves to give kisses and get pets and treats. He is a protector and the best of friends.

The MRI he needs was quoted at $5,000, which is way out of my price range. They recommended euthanasia without surgery if he doesn’t improve. Cognitively he is great, and it’s hard to make that decision when the only thing wrong is his legs.
