About this campaign

Starro and one of his littermates were hit by a car and dumped in a rural animal shelter.

When One By One Animal Advocates heard about this tragedy, volunteers raced the pups to the animal hospital. Sadly, Starro's sibling died while they were in transit.

And when they arrived at the veterinarian, Starro was barely alive!

She was so anemic she needed a blood transfusion. Her eye was so infected that the smell traveled across the room. Now she needs surgery to remove her eye.

One By One is trying to raise the money to cover Starro's surgery and care. They want to give the pup a new "leash" on life!

"She needs to begin to heal physically and mentally," Heather A., with the group, tells Waggle. "Losing one sibling alongside her on the way to the veterinarian and almost losing her own life is enough for any animal. It's just a sad existence she has lived."

Can you help Starro get his surgery and a happier and healthier life ahead?
