About this campaign

I live alone, and I wanted a companion which is what I have found in Steamboat Willie. He was at the local UPAWS shelter. I knew he was the dog for me when I first walked in and saw him. We just clicked. The shelter officially named him Steamboat Willie but I call him Snooters because he is always sniffing everything on our walks. I have had him for five years and he is my emotional support.

I brought scooters to the Animal Medical Center of Marquette for an emergency appointment. He was not eating just laying around not playing and they diagnosed him with a fungal infection and allergic itch. I am unable to pay the bill so they will not let me pick up the prescription for his medication until the bill is paid.

Snooters is my best friend and I feel helpless that I am not able to get his medications so he can get well and get back to going on long walks and sniffing everything along the way.

I live on a fixed income, and after I pay my monthly expenses, there is no money left over for any other expenses. If I run short on groceries, I can receive help from the local food pantries but there are no programs that help with pets
