Stella is a 6 month old Maltese in Glendale Heights , IL, who needs $2,000 for Portosystemic Shunt PSS /Soft Tissue Surgery.

We been fur parents too two Maltese pups Stella and Remy since November 2023. They both were born on October 5th, 2023. They do have an older sister named Pookie and shes is 11 years old she loves her siblings which they keep her young. Stella is very loving and caring we have been smitten by her.

Stella has recently been diagnosed with Portosystemic Shunt. She requires urgent surgery so she can live a long life. The shunt is causing a slight growth stunt. The vet from the Elmhurst Animal Clinic is Dr. Khaira is currently has Stella on some medicine to slow down symptoms of PSS and try to prevent it from becoming neurological/seizures from happening.

Stella is a curious, fearless, and loving pup. She is always looking for an adventure around her house. She loves to climb and weave through some areas. She has learned to climb out from her crate but we have a cover now to keep her safe. When we are home while holding her she will cuddle alongside you and give endless kisses.

This experience has been a sudden medical expense for our pup. We would love to see her grow, develope and live a longer life that just a couple of months. Her siblings Remy and Pookie would also want to have their sister to be around.
