About this campaign

I am a pet care provider, and I started caring for my sweet Stella when she was just a baby. I would frequently care for her on weekends when her former owner would go away. Eventually, her former owner moved and asked me to care for Stella while she got settled, and Stella remained with me permanently after her owner stopped communicating. She became the light of my life.

Stella was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor by Dr. Hammond at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Hospital. With radiation therapy she could continue to spread the joy she always does for a lot longer.

Stella has a fan club wherever she goes. She has SO much personality. Her sweet smile and chattiness wins everyone over, and it makes people feel good that she is always so excited to see/meet them. She is sassy and spicy, but also very loving and caring, and she always beings a smile to the face of all she meets. She has always been welcoming towards the other dogs temporarily in my care.

Radiation therapy is SO expensive, and will also involve a lot of time and effort-3 weeks, M-F, about 2 hrs away. I am single, and I work a second job in addition to .pet sitting. Stella is my roommate and love of my life and keeps me sane. I am not giving up on her.
