About this campaign
I found Stella online when she was just a kitten, after having searched for some time for a feline that would mend my heart. I had just gone through a very traumatic life-changing event, and my love for cats came to surface expressing that it was time to adopt one. It was love at first sight when I saw Stella's picture, and she was well worth the two hour drive to get her.
Stella has always been a "Momma's girl", and truly acts like a sister with my daughter. Stella can be quite the princess with a dash of sass in the mix. We have made it clear that Stella is a member of our little family and not just a pet. We make a point to celebrate her birthday every year on April 30th. Likewise, we all have the same initials.
Stella has a very patient demeanor. She never demands for anything, and it takes a lot for her to get upset or angry. She sleeps next to me every night, and she has always twitched, snored, and made noises while she sleeps. It's so hard not to giggle when she does these things because it's so darn cute!
I was extremely devastated when I discovered the lump on Stella's lower abdomen last year. After doing some research and taking her to the veterinarian, it was confirmed she had breast cancer. Dr. Ryan Speltz at Skyline Veterinary Hospital in Fridley, MN performed surgery on Stella and removed all of what he could see of the tumor. However, her cancer is back and at the surface causing bleeding.
In June 2022, we..among several other people, were forced to leave our homes due to the property owners wanting to really raise prices on rent, and they couldn't do that to current renters, but they could for new renters. We ended up moving in with my parents.
