Stella — 107997

Hi everyone. My name is Denise and my dog's name is Stella. Stella is sweet, spunky, and full of life dog. I've taken care of her since she was a puppy, She is now 12 years old. She is my everything. Stella is my best friend, service dog, and companion. We live together in little apartment in St. Louis Park, MN. Stella has cancer in her spleen, but she is still full of happiness! I love her!!!!!!

Stella lives with me in our apartment. She is very happy, excited and playful when interacting with family and friends. She loves her toys and likes to go outside for walks. She also acts as my service dog and calms me down when I am having an anxiety or asthma attack. She loves to meet new people and other dogs. She is especially attached to me and my PCA, Ashli. She like to give hugs and kisses

I am sad because I do not have the funds to pay for Stella's chemo treatment. I am unable to work and on social security disability, food assistance, and medical assistance. I want to prolong Stella's life and have more time with her. I am doing everything I can to help her

A short time ago I brought Stella into the vet for some lumps she had. One lump on her chest turned out to be cancerous. It was removed. The vet then did an ultrasound to see if the cancer spread to her organs. At the beginning of September I received the devastating news that the cancer had spread to her spleen. Stella has 3 months to live without chemo and 6 months to live with chemo. So sad.

Stella is special because she can sense other people's anxiety and stress and has the ability to calm them down and relax them. She can sense if there is danger or if someone needs help. Also, she make me smile and laugh when she tried to talk back to people. She also likes giving a lot of hugs and kisses. She loves her stuffed animal toys and treats them as if they were her babies, she loves them
