Sterling is a 5-year-old Shorthair Cat in Pittsburgh , PA, who needs $500 for Xray, Medications, and Potential Surgery.

I adopted Sterling while I was in college and she's been my best friend ever since. Never leaves my side, loves to be held and loves to cuddle. We recently moved to Pittsburgh last year.

It is just her and I so no family members, but she's so warm and welcoming to any guests and treats then like she's been pals with them forever. She loves to play with her toys during the day and cuddle in the evening. It's wonderful

She LOVES her cheese toy, where a plastic mouse will pop up on either end and she'll chase it around. Never fails to make me smile knowing she's having a blast.

We took her to the Vet and unfortunately, we do not have enough funds to find answers. She is still lethargic and not eating after several days, and when taken to the Vet, she started panting intensely on her side, when getting bloodwork done and had to be put on oxygen. We are awaiting bloodwork results, but no longer have funds to continue diagnostics or treatment that follows

I got sick with Covid, which soon followed up with an ear infection, which has prevented me from working and being able to afford an emergency visit. Sterling is my best friend, cat daughter and my life. Her being healthy means more to me than my own life.
